Chris Bristol Gets the Pole at Hickory

Chris and his No. 92 MBNA race team were disappointed the rainout cancelled their plans to score another win at the track, but were happy to sit on the pole nonetheless.

Chris commented, “It’s tough we didn’t get the race in tonight because of the weather, my team has been working hard back at the shop preparing this car, which was fast. This team deserves this pole award. I wish we would have been able to get the race in tonight, but we’ll just come back and get’em next week. “

He continued, “I would also like to thank MBNA, Rockwell Automation, Cintas and Coca-Cola for all their support as well as everyone at Joe Gibbs Racing/Reggie White Motorsports.”
