Chris Bristol Back in Victory Lane at Hickory Motor Speedway

HICKORY, NC- Chris Bristol backed up his second pole in a row at the historic Hickory Motor Speedway this week, by putting on a dominating performance on the way to victory lane for his second win of the year.

Bristol led the field from the green for Saturday’s 50 lap feature race. From the green flag waived, the No. 92 MBNA race team knew they had a good car and let the competition know right a way. By lap 14 Bristol had checked out on the field by several car lengths and would not look back.

In 2005, Bristol has two straight poles and two wins. He is also the only African-American driver to have a pole and a win at Hickory Motor Speedway.

Bristol is currently is currently fifth in driver’s points just two points behind Randy Burnett for fourth.
