J.J. Yeley - Michigan Pre-Race Notes and Quotes

*J.J. Yeley was one of only three NASCAR Busch Series regulars to finish in the top 10 at Watkins Glen (Martin Truex and Paul Menard).

*J.J. Yeley remains 12th in the NASCAR Busch Series driver standings this week after the Watkins Glen race. Ten races ago Yeley was 22nd as the circuit traveled to Nashville. But with seven top-10 finishes in his last ten races, Yeley has moved all the way up to 12th and is just 41 points behind 11th and 110 points behind 10th.

*This weekend's NASCAR Busch Series race at Michigan will mark J.J. Yeley's first ever NASCAR Busch Series event at the facility. However, last year Yeley finished 13th in Morgan Dollar's #47 Chevy Silverado in a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race in July at Michigan. Yeley also attempted to qualify for the Nextel Cup Series event at Michigan last August. After posting the 11th fastest lap in practice, Yeley appeared well on his way to making the field, but rain showers cancelled qualifying and Yeley's #11 Vigoro/Home Depot Chevrolet was forced to miss the race.

*J.J. Yeley will race Chassis #1868 at Michigan. Yeley has raced this particular car just once this year. He finished eighth at Nashville in June with Chassis #1868. Yeley tested with this car at Michigan in early August.
