J.J. Yeley - Bristol Pre-Race Notes and Quotes

*J.J. Yeley moved up one position to 11th in the NASCAR Busch Series driver standings this week after the Michigan. Eleven races ago Yeley was 22nd as the circuit traveled to Nashville. With eight top-10 finishes in his those last 11 races, Yeley has moved all the way up to 11th and is just 35 points behind 10th.

*This weekend's NASCAR Busch Series race at Bristol will mark J.J. Yeley's third NASCAR Busch Series event at the facility. Last year in 2004, Yeley led 17 laps and finished 15th. Earlier in 2005, Yeley finished 21st.

*J.J. Yeley will race Chassis #1866 at Bristol. Yeley has raced this particular car three times in 2005. His best finish in Chassis #1866 was at Milwaukee where he qualified eighth and finished fourth, Yeley's best ever Busch Series finish. He also finished 18th at both Dover in June and Chicago in July with this car.
