Mike Hicks started his career in 2006 as a mechanic for Green Light Racing but quickly developed a talent for changing tires. He worked for two years at Wood Brothers Racing as a tire changer. Then moved to Joe Gibbs Racing where he has been a front and rear tire changer for the past 13 years. He spent 10 of those years as the rear tire changer on Denny Hamlin’s #11 FedEx Toyota.
