Aircraft Cleaner
We have a full-time opening in our aviation department.
Responsibilities:
Aircraft-
• Vacuuming
• Wipe down seats, tray tables, overhead bins, etc.
• Cleaning windows
• Waxing exterior painted surfaces as needed
• Polishing wing leading edges and other bright work
• Washing aircraft as needed
• Other duties as needed
Hangar-
• Maintains clean floor by use of a floor scrubber machine
• Keeps break area tidy
• Cleans restrooms
• Empties trash
• Vacuums offices
• Other duties as assigned

Facilities Technician
We have an immediate opening for a full-time Facilities Technician.
Duties:

Perform ongoing maintenance and repair work on
-
HVAC systems
-
Facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Facility inspections
-
Maintain compliance with City, County, State ordinances and codes

Respond to emergencies
-
Support any afterhours building needs and activities as requested
Qualifications:

High School diploma
-
CFC License
-
Strong mechanical aptitude
-
5-8 years of related experience

Senior Mechanical Engineer
As an engineer in the Design Group at Joe Gibbs Racing, you will play a primary role in the development, implementation, and support of racecar systems and components.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
The ideal candidate for this role will possess/demonstrate these skills and attributes:
-
B.S. in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
-
6 years minimum of motorsports, aerospace, or vehicle systems engineering experience
-
An inquisitive nature and an innate ability to see differences and details between seemingly similar items
-
Ability to work in a group and/or alone on multiple projects, with variable and often very tight timelines
-
Comfortable while working in diverse groups, at various locations, and in different/demanding environments
-
A strong aptitude for mechanical systems, mechanical design, and application of engineering fundamentals to achieve tangible results
-
A library of engineering materials and processes and the ability to apply that library to achieve a specific design solution/result
-
Knowledge of standard motorsports manufacturing processes, limitations, and workflows
-
Ability to create planned strategies for problem solving, including coordinating tests and writing test plans
-
Strong communication skills required, both verbally and written
-
Proficient with CAD systems, preferably Siemens NX with TeamCenter
-
Strong understanding and competent application of design-based simulation software, specifically FEA
-
Capable of creating production-quality engineering drawings that meet ANSI Y14.1 standards
-
Use of common workplace Microsoft tools including Office, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, etc.
-
Proficiency with MatLab and Excel
-
A strong understanding of motorsports data collection/analysis systems (MoTeC, Pi, etc)
LOGISTICS:
-
Job location is in Huntersville, NC; full-time, on-site work is required
-
While significant travel is not ordinary in this role, occasional travel (typically less than 5%) may be required for on-location tests, vendor audits, partner meetings, and/or race support
