Cup Fab Shop Personnel
Positions Summary:
We are currently seeking 3-4 highly detail-oriented individuals to join our fabrication team. The Fab Shop role is open to internal and external candidates. Successful applicants will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong computer literacy, and eagerness to learn and use industry-specific software, including Rome Arms and scanning tools. We are looking for multiple people with a range of skill levels.

Responsibilities:
· Prepare and assemble body panels and body parts for JGR Cup cars.
· Measure and meet tolerance requirements per engineering build specifications.
· Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with NASCAR rules, and JGR quality standards.
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:
· High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
· Strong computer skills; able to quickly learn new industry-specific software.
· Willing to adapt and grow with new systems and workflows.
· Previous experience in fabrication or shop work preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
· Experience using portable CMM’s (Romer arms) is a plus.
· Desire to work in a collaborative, demanding, and fast-paced development environment.
· Flexibility in work hours and patience with a dynamic schedule.
· Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the team.

Director of Performance Engineering
Job Summary:
Joe Gibbs Racing is seeking an accomplished engineering leader to serve as Director of Performance Engineering. This position oversees a multidisciplinary group responsible for vehicle performance analysis, simulation development, and race engineering support. The Director will guide engineers across multiple technical disciplines to ensure world-class analytical capability, robust engineering processes, and seamless collaboration with trackside engineering teams.
This individual will be a key member of the technical leadership team, responsible for translating competitive goals into engineering priorities that enhance vehicle performance and decision-making. The role requires both strategic vision and hands-on technical leadership in an environment defined by innovation, precision, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop a team of performance and simulation engineers to deliver high-quality analytical tools, models, and event support.
• Establish department strategy and priorities aligned with race team performance objectives.
• Oversee development, validation, and distribution of vehicle simulation baselines.
• Direct the integration of simulation, test, and track data to improve prediction accuracy and engineering insight.
• Collaborate closely with aerodynamics, vehicle design, powertrain, and competition leadership to guide development direction.
• Support race engineering efforts with advanced tools, analysis techniques, and interpretation of simulation results.
• Champion continuous improvement of software tools, process efficiency, and knowledge sharing across engineering groups.
• Manage department resources, budgets, and staffing to meet team performance and development goals.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of professional motorsport experience with strong grounding in vehicle dynamics, simulation, or race engineering.
• Exceptional organizational leadership, communication, and collaboration skills; significant outward communication is required.
• At least 3 years in a technical management or leadership role overseeing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience with full-vehicle simulation applications, analysis, and optimization
• Proven ability to define and deliver technical strategy in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
• High concern for quality, attention to detail, and pride in individual and team achievements.
Logistics:
• Full-time, on-site position based at Joe Gibbs Racing headquarters in Huntersville, NC.

Social Media Project Coordinator
Joe Gibbs Racing is seeking a dynamic, creative thinker to help grow the team’s presence and influence across the social media landscape, helping drive deeper, more meaningful connections with fans. This individual will be tasked with the development of engaging photographical, video, graphical, written, and other content. Working under the Director of Digital/Social, this person will ideate and create content for JGR, its drivers and occasionally its partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
(Other duties may be assigned).
• Capture and create innovative, entertaining and original content to accompany original copy across multiple platforms through use of DSLR camera and iPhone.
• Provide social coverage at events as needed (travel to +/- 80% of races).
• Capture/document weekly activities at shop and at-track, and have a vision for final output of consumable content.
• Organize and fill a photo archive.
• Photograph driver and team head shots in studio using strobe flash equipment.
• Brainstorm, research, pitch/present executable ideas for content.
• Assistance in productions.
• Capture random talking-head interviews (coach, drivers, etc.).
• Cut clips into consumable pieces.
• Overlay text, captions, graphics, etc. on videos.
• Video projects: plan, shoot, edit, etc.
• Work with and communicate with freelancers.
• Create content in coordination with freelancers (involves delegating project responsibilities, planning and communicating with freelancers).
• Help with various production, website, editing, and design tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferably in marketing, communication or journalism.
• Team player who strives to help the social team with photo, video, graphic design, brainstorming and formulating creative assets.
• Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms, their unique audiences and how to use them to maximize branding and marketing efforts.
• Well versed in how to operate a DSLR camera.
• Well versed in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and social media apps.
• Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, and Illustrator skills are a plus.
• Excellent writing and proof-reading skills, including superior attention to detail, a strong handle of grammar, punctuation and voice.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and problem solve, and manage time effectively within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to strive under pressure and in tight deadlines.
• Proactive thinker who brings creativity to the job every day.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when needed.
• Ability to take ideas from concept to execution.

• Mastery in photography and videography, both in shooting imagery and providing shot list direction.

• Ability in providing a portfolio of photography and video projects completed.
THE SHORT & SWEET JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Role as team photographer, traveling around the country to +/- 30 NASCAR races every year to capture photos of our drivers and race teams.
• In-shop duties include taking photos of cars on shop floor, various happenings, drivers in studio, etc.
• Familiar with capturing and editing video. This can be as simple as shooting with an iPhone and editing in CapCut.
• Show your work…meaning preference will be given to applicants who share their portfolio with us. We don’t care if it’s a website, your personal socials, or via some other avenue. We just want to see what you can do!
• If you do not know Photoshop, Lightroom, your way around a DSLR camera, or the difference between f-stops and shutter speeds, then this job is not for you.

• Assist with teardown, inspection, and rebuilding of chassis and suspension components
• Collaborate with the Crew Chief, Car Chief, and Shop Manager to ensure vehicle readiness

ARCA Menards Series Race Engineer / Setup Technician
Joe Gibbs Racing is seeking a highly motivated and detail-driven Race Engineer / Setup Technician to support our ARCA Menards Series program. This position plays a key role in optimizing vehicle performance through simulation, data analysis, and trackside engineering support. In addition to analytical responsibilities, a critical component of this role involves hands-on work with the race car, including setup, mechanical adjustments, and collaboration with the crew.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Race Engineer, you will contribute to race preparation, simulation, and performance analysis, including:
• Performing simulation work and maintaining accurate data within the team database
• Analyzing tire, suspension, and aerodynamic data to define optimal performance windows
• Designing and executing weekly test plans for Driver-in-Loop (DIL) and physical testing
• Assist in Chassis Setup and Operating the Pull-Down Rig to collect load and travel data
• Install and operate MoTeC Data Kits for testing and track events
• Providing trackside engineering support, including data collection and real-time analysis
• Collaborating with the Crew Chief, Car Chief, and race team on race strategy and vehicle setup
Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of professional motorsports experience (race engineering preferred)
• Solid foundation of vehicle dynamics and data interpretation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, OneNote, Teams)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Hands-on race car experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Romer Arm or racing setup preferred

Key Responsibilities:
As an Entry-Level Mechanic, you will assist in various shop and operations duties, including:
